Australian/New York-based actress and international chanteuse Jane Badler releases her cover versions of Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and Chrisma’s ‘Black Silk Stockings’ on all digital platforms.
‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ features Badler’s take on Minogue’s 2001 international pop hit. And, while both versions detail a woman’s obsession with her lover, Jane’s rendition applies a slower, dramatic slant on the former, uptempo commercial composition.

‘Black Silk Stocking’ features Badler in a feistier mood as she delivers a dance/rock version of Italian synthpunk duo Chrisma’s 1977 release. An underground classic, Jane makes it her own in 2016 with this recorded version as well as the soon to be released dance remixes by DJ Tracy Young (Madonna, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Katy Perry).

Produced to perfection by Grammy award-winning Jeff Bova, both songs have featured in Jane Badler’s live performances in New York, London, Paris and Australia since the release of her 2014 album, ‘Opus’.
Jane said: “After a long incubation period, two of my favorite covers are up and running! I started singing Kylie Minogue’s track ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ after a band member came up with the brilliant idea of slowing it down. Of course my dark twisted brain started experimenting with all sorts of crazy performance ideas… But underneath was always the wonderful theme… Obsessive love.”
“For me ‘Black Silk Stockings’ is a hymn to the sexual proclivities of anyone a little left of centre. So much so that I proudly penned the new lyric, “Kinky, sex fantasy, I don’t like reality”… I’m sure some people can relate!”
