JTV Digital artist SixDec wins award at B-Side Project event at Metropolis Studios

Henry Burke aka SixDec from Rhos on Sea, North Wales and currently studying in Manchester, has won a prestigious UK ​award​ for the third year running!

He received his award at the world famous Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, West London, in front of a crowd packed full of some of the most recognizable artists and Producers in the music industry. The event was organised by UK based B-Side Project and included judges such as Matt Schwartz, La Roux, Roni Size, Too Many T’s, Nu:Tone, Wolfgang Fleur (Kraftwerk), Estelle Rubio, to name a few.

As well as this, he also has released a remix of international DJ star Matt Darey’s  ‘Light Of Day’ released in December via Somn’Thing Records. Henry has recently co-written and produced tracks with another North Wales based Producer Simon Gardner, at Rockcliffe Studios, Llandudno.

 

 

Henry is currently doing a degree at University of Central Lancashire in the campus Futureworks in Manchester, and has several releases already on US label Gurl Tok, French label JTV Digital and US label Vivid Kind – the future is bright indeed for this highly talented DJ/Producer/Remixer bringing North Wales firmly on the music map once again!
